Absolutely ATROCIOUS service

I have just received the most DISGUSTING service from this courier company. I booked an overnight collection with The Courier Guy yesterday for a package I sent to my brother in Pretoria. I put all the items in a box i received a previous package in and secured a small glass candle in foam to ensure it did not get damaged. I received the info of my booking and the waybill number and that was it. My brother then sends me pictures earlier today of 3 of the items in the package and they looked terrible, squashed and crumpled and the glass candle was broken. But not just that, the items had all been removed from the box and put into a flyer bag! When I queried this with the Operations Manager and the head office in Johannesburg, named Prince Mokwena, he was rude and abrupt and gave me such a hard time and basically blamed me for not putting a fragile sticker on my box. He told me that items would only be removed if my package was insufficient. Keep in mind the company I work for sends similar packages via The Courier Guy all the time, and they have never been tampered with. What was the difference this time? And with the apparent "insufficient" packaging in mind, a) how is a flyer bag more secure or sufficient than a box? and b) why was I not notified that my box was opened and put into different packaging? To top it all I STILL haven't even received any notification that the package was delivered, or a tracking number, or who the person was that delivered my package. Shortly into the call with Prince Mokwena, he was very dismissive and told me to rather contact him via WhatsApp, and gave me his cellphone number. I loaded the contact number into my phone only to discover that when I went into WhatsApp that the number was not even connected to WhatsApp. Needless to say, neither the company I work for nor I will EVER be making use of The Courier Guy again if this is how they conduct their business. If I could give them zero stars, I would.
