Absolute incompetence and apathy.

I haven't had many issues with Courier Guy but today was absolutely ridiculous. I received a notification that my order was in the Pudo locker. I went and scanned the code. Being in a rush I grabbed it ad went home only to see I had someone else's package. I contacted Amazon who said TCG would contact me which they never did. So I did and after speaking to a few people who had no idea what was going on I was told that they'd go and get my package from the locker and collect the wrong one.

On a whim I decided to go back to the locker thinking perhaps the code might open the correct door or something. I found a TCG driver there and gave him the wrong package. They then opened every locker and mine wasn't there. Speaking to someone the driver's phone it became clear that they had no idea where it was. So in this debacle I received someone else's package, I assume someone has mine and I have nothing. I even tried the PIN which came back with nothing so I assume it was collected by someone else. I came back home and I still haven't heard from anyone who said they'd contact me. I still have no idea where my package is or what they're even doing to remedy this. They seem to be completely unconcerned about it.

After all of this I was told by the operations manager Alistair Coetzee that "Please note, this is due to no-one's incompetence" and "the machine simply had an error and opened the wrong door." I'm still not entirely convinced of that and I believe the incorrect codes were sent. Given that this was all TCG's fault, I do not appreciate his attitude and unwillingness to accept responsibility.

I would have asked to be contacted by someone above this so-called manager but I know that will never happen.
