A courier company that can't courier parcels

A parcel of mine was sent by The Courier Guy in Mossel Bay on 22nd December destined for Johannesburg. Following the progress online, it made it's way to Johannesburg soon after and was listed as dispatched. I assumed this meant it was out for delivery, but day after day it was never delivered and I waited and waited. When I followed up and made contacted over their whatsapp platform, the BOT operating it was useless and when a human did intervene they were also useless. Strangely, I get asked the contents of the package, I respond it is a Jersey and question why, the next response is a picture of an opened package and my jersey with the text "is this it?" I confirm it is the package and ask when it will be delivered but have heard nothing since... What kind of a circus is the Courier Guy running? Lesson learned, I assume my jersey is lost, I would be a fool to ever use The Can't Courier Guy again.
