A clueless courier company

I am seriously annoyed with The courier guy. Looking at how my collection and delivery is going, I do not understand how this business is still going. It might be that the standard in South Africa has just gone so badly, that we simply accept this ******* treatment and service. Courier guy might by proud of themselves, but I simply think they are pathetic. It started with my me booking a collection, Monday eve and paying in full. I really did not agree with the amount, I really felt it is a *******, but it is what it is. Later the Tues morning, I tracked my collection and it showed payment pending. Concerned I contacted CG and they said the courier is on his way. On Wed morning, the sender contacted me and said, CG collected x2 items from him. One for Durban and one of me. The Durban receiver just got his bill and it was huge. The item was a T shirt. I wasn’t shock as I feel CG does not charge fairly. But that is my opinion. I contacted CG again and said my payment is still pending and the Durban receiver got a huge bill. I asked him to confirm where my item is heading and to ensure my items is not being sent to Durban now. CG promptly informed me I only paid for economy service, so my item marked at in transit and payment pending, is only due 3 to 4 days. I did not have a issue with this. The very next morning, I get a sms to say the item is being delivered today, Thurs. After just yesterday being told, to expect delivery between Fri and Mon. Not wanting to contacting CG again, I simply accepted, their online tracking, their agents and the actual delivery is not on the same page. The one not really caring about the other. So I arrange to be home and wait and wait. Sms received 6h33, now 19h09, still no delivery. So not sure where my item is, I simply have to wait and hope. I suggest, avoid using courier guy. They are not the best courier service, they are simply bad, confused and lost. And to top it off, they charge a huge amount for the useless service which they package as a special gift to you. Rather use another courier service.
