Poor workmanship and attitude

We built a house and The Cottage Project did the steel work for us. First he made various promises as to the date that he would come and do the work. After a number of promises he finally came and did the work - also only after we paid him way in advance because his story was always that he had cash flow problems and if we did not pay him in advance he will simply not come and do the work. He finally came and finished after we had paid him in full. My husband then called him numerous times to come and do finishing on his work as he had promised - the only response was that he will not and when we finally got him to commit to a date he simply did not pitch.<br> <br> The steel work he did is rusting - after only 4 months as a result of poor workmanship and the fact that he did not come and finish his work despite having been paid.<br> <br> Please stay away from this business - Mike does poor work and has a bad attitude.<br>
