The Construction Guys - Missed deadlines

My wife and I contacted Gary Peters ***ner and operator of The Construction Guys - a renovation company based in Johannesburg) in September 2017 to get a quote to renovate the house we recently purchased. Our initial meeting was good and Gary came across as professional and trustworthy. He said that the project would take about 5 weeks, we accepted the quote, and work began in early October. Gary said that, if all went to plan, everything would be completed by the 17th of November 2017.

By the end of February 2018, after many delays and problems, the renovation was still ongoing even after multiple promises that it would be done. Gary asked for multiple extensions to complete the work and missed every revised deadline we gave him.
