The City Club apartment (Four Seasons apartment 1604 in 47 buitenkant street)

We were not happy with the accommodation. We felt that the accommodation was falsely advertised on Airbnb with misleading pictures of how the place actually looks. In light of this upon our arrival, it was too late to cancel and find another accommodation. For the amount of money spent on the accommodation? No one else would’ve stayed at that place.

Unhappy about the following in the apartment:

One bowl to accommodate two people? How can you have one bowl but the booking has been made for two people? Must we share a bowl? No-tag to access the apartment floor which made an inconvenience to us. We had to be escorted by security to get to apartment 1604 each time we left and came back to the apartment. The mat was dirty. The apartment had a smell when you enter it. The apartment felt like a storeroom with black corneas laying near the microwave. The wifi stopped working halfway through our stay and never worked again. We had to buy and use our new batteries because the tv remote batteries weren’t working. The cupboards and wardrobes were falling apart. In the bathroom the towel rack was falling off the wall how do we hang our towels? The kettle wasn’t working and didn’t hit up hot water. The agent was unhelpful and lacked communication. We contacted them regarding the access tag and were told they don’t have and asked them when will we get a tag and the agent didn’t respond.

We were really unimpressed with the service given and the presentation of the apartment. Were we paying R1200 for such conditions? Dissatisfied and the listed amenities we didn’t get most of them.

Not sure what you will be doing on your end but we not going to let it go on our side. I’m sure no one would have agreed to pay this amount of money for such living conditions.

They weren't even bothered to reply to our compliments via WhatsApp it's the second day now still haven't heard anything from them. I even have pictures to prove what I've been talking about.
