HURT BY MY CHRISTIAN BROTHER!!!!!

Writing this review was truly not easy. I am not sure whether I am disappointed, disgusted or embarrassed. A car driven by a young missionary about 21 - 25 yrs old failed to stop at the stop sign in Senekal on 04/06/2026 at about 09:16 am. this led me to drive to the pavement to avoid him from hitting my car. My car was damaged as I was travelling at 119 km/hr. I was on a free way and he just drove straight in a free way without stopping. After this incident, he also stopped, they were three in a white Ranger bakkie, he was travelling with other 2 young men, ages about 13- 15 yrs old. I was driving with my daughter. He approached us and started apologizing. He said he did not see a blind spot. I asked calmly "why don't you stop at the stop sign" he continued to say he was sorry he did not see the blind stop. I requested him to wait so that I can call the police for statement but he refused and said they were in a hurry rushing to Kroonstad. I insisted but failed. I then asked to take his details. He gave us his contacts, I asked him to call me so that I confirm if he was giving us correct numbers and he did. We took a photo of the disc of his car and the registration numbers. Fortunately, he was wearing a name tag, written ELDER FADDIS, THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS. He also allowed me to take a pic of his tag. I asked his address, he just said they were from Lesotho driving to Kroonstad. They all got in their car and left. I called the insurance and my car was towed.

In few hours after the incident my son called him and he indicated that he was in Kroonstad. My son asked to meet with him in Kroonstad so that we can go to the police station for the statement, he agreed. But on arrival in Kroonstad, my son asked the police to call him he answered and said he was on his way to the boarder crossing to Lesotho. Later in the afternoon, someone called and said he was his lawyer and that we must not involve the young man. He indicated that he stopped at the accident just to witness what happened not that he had anything to do with it.

I WENT SPEECHLESS AND COULD NOT BELIEVE.... I WONDERED, IF A YOUNG MAN WHO IS A WORSHIPER, SENT TO THIS COUNTRY TO PREACH THE WORD OF GOD CAN TRULY BEHAVE IN THIS MANNER, WHERE ARE WE HEADING TO AS HUMANS. IF A YOUNG MAN OF GOD IS CAPABLE OF HURTING OTHER PEOPLE AND STILL CONTINUE TO PRONOUNCE THE WORD OF THE LORD, WOW!!! BECAUSE I AM ALSO A CHRISTIAN I FELT EMBARRASED BUT HANDED OVER THIS MATTER TO GOD .... SOME PEOPLE DONT BELIEVE IN CHRISTIANITY BECAUSE OF SUCH ACTS ... WOW!!!! BUT I AM AT PEACE....
