A zoo????

<p>We stayed two nights at the church Hotel in Rome 7-9 June 2017.</p> <p>Difficult to access as not close to metro - about 1-2km away</p> <p>You cannot get into your room before 1430ish - staff are uninformed and not friendly</p> <p>No kettle or tea / coffee in the room for a 4 star hotel although they did eventually provide a kettle???</p> <p>Lights did not work in room due to no information from the front desk re using the room card</p> <p>Breakfast was great</p> <p>What spoilt the ambience of our stay totally was the stuffed lion in a cage in the foyer outside the hotel Circus restaurant. In todays modern era of knowledge with respect to declining lion populations from hunting and habitat loss and world questions about the use of animals in circuses this stuffed male lion seemd prescriptive , inconsiderate to people such as myself and unrespectful from all aspects.</p> <p>A definite no for us for next time</p>
