**** Deposits

Such a ****my company. I stayed at The Carrington on Loop Street in Cape Town on 01 September, and my accommodation was already booked and paid for by my client. So I was surprised when asked for a R500 deposit payment on my arrival (the reasoning behind it never explained but I was told I'll receive a refund within 14 business days). Suffice to say when I did enquire about the refund on 04 October I've been given nothing but a runaround : They first asked me for my banking details, which I sent through. Weeks pass, no payment. When I checked in with them yesterday they sent me a POP of someone else's account (not my client) & are now telling me to go ask my client about the refund. I have never experienced such unprofessional and ****my behaviour in my life. Book at your own peril.
