Capital On The Park Sandton ****** Manager Charlene Steinmamm
I have received nothing but bad service in this hotel. I have been booked for the entire month of January in this hotel in Sandton for work purposes.
From day one, no one had customers best interest while checking in. I had to wait for only one manager to process my check in while there was over 5 heads behind the counter doing nothing.
A week later my room became uncomfortable to live in because the carpet was smelling. I had to ask to be moved into a different room.
2 weeks later a manager named Charlene Steinmamm sent guards to chase my guest away, according to her we were loud for her liking. At first attempt we apologized and lowered our voices. The second and the 3rd time guards kept coming for no reason. The 3rd time they came to tell my guest to leave????
This hotel is crazy busy from Monday to Sunday There's always people around for different reasons and occasions. In my own space/room that was paid for the entire month, I had to whisper when talking with my guests because I was "making noise" for the hotel manager on duty Charlene Steinmamm who happened to be sleeping in the room below mine.
After being disrespected by guards who were sent by her, I went down personally to the reception to ask for her. She came down and looked me with a disgusted face. She actually never listened to anything I said but walked away from me while I was talking, instead she called the same guard to the office (Eric) Her tone of voice was very unpleasant even to her staff. She's full of attitude for a manager and very unapologetic of her behavior and manner of approach. I am sorry but I find her very unprofessional and lacks leadership s****s both to internal and external customers. I am totally annoyed and disgusted to be treated like I'm staying for free in this hotel.
OH well, one of the managers at reception confirmed that he went up towards my room to assess the noise reported and found nothing but silence before my guests were thrown out. I'm left wondering what could be the motive behind such ill treatment ??? Bear in mind that at the very same time my guest were told to leave, the hotel and bar was still buzzing with people. The ****** in SA would never come to an end. It's tiring.
