Poor service

On Tuesday December 15, a client treated myself and two of my colleagues to supper. We decided on the Butcher Shop and Grill Mandela Square, because the menu is impressive, but we were shocked by the poor service we received. First, we were served with the drinks that we ordered before our order was taken and not once did any of the waiters check on us, so much so that we finished off our first round of drinks while still waiting to order our food. The restaurant was not busy, and the table next to ours seemed to be buzzing with different waiters attending to them while we quietly sat waiting for our turn. After waiting about 20 minutes for service, I decided to call out to one of the plenty of waiters who were standing on the floor not looking occupied at all while we were left unattended to and requested a waiter to come and take our order, and again no one bothered to respond. We waited an additional 10 mins or so before opting for another restaurant. On our way out, we all couldn't help but wonder if our skin tone partially influenced the horrific service we got. Our appetites slowely subsided after that and our evening ruined. Very disappointing.
