Destroyed Wedding Dress with Alterations - expected me to pick it up 2 days before the wedding 'fixed'
DO NOT RECOMMEND BRIDAL HOUSE! I had a 'final fitting' 2 weeks before my wedding and discovered that I would have to look again for a new dress. They did alterations over 2 months and in the process made the dress completely unwearable. The first fitting of the dress resulted in the belt being off to the side rather than centered and the straps being attached asymmetrically. I was told then that that seamstress was no longer with the company and another seamstress fitted me to fix the issues. The second fitting had among other issues the pleating done unevenly, lumps along the bodice, one of the straps attached twisted and the belt completely disappeared AND a tomato sauce stain on the inner skirts of the dress. I then met with the head seamstress who said that she would have to rebuild the entire bodice. When I came back for the third fitting hoping that the issues would be fixed the cups were uneven and the pleats had tufts sticking out as the bodice was rebuilt using s****s of the material from the dress. The belt was never found. I ended up getting a dress from another company because I couldn't trust that on the 4th try and with 2 weeks to go they would manage to have a dress sorted out for me. When I requested a refund the refused saying that the dress has been altered already and that I could come for a final fitting and to pick up the dress 2 days before the wedding. After reviewing them on Google they removed my review and blocked me from reviewing them, which is a **** to customers who use reviews to make informed decisions.
