The Bricks Factory ******

On Friday the 17 th of February 2017 I bought 10 000 maxi bricks at The Bricks Factory. I directly paid into their bank account R23 000 for the bricks. We agreed with Sam, the sales person that the bricks will be delivered on Monday the 20 th of February 2017 at 17 Magnolia Street, Bergsig, Heidelberg. However they were not delivered as agreed. Sam called me to explain that the factory had some problems due to rain during that week. In the subsequent weeks I made follow ups to request Sam to deliver, however this was not done. Sam handed me over to a manager David to handle my order. However David **** to me several times regarding delivery. Ultimately on the 8 th of March 2017, I requested a refund. Sam requested me to sign a “credit note” of which I signed. In our conversation he said that this will be processed within 3 days and I will get my money back. So I reasonably expected that by the 13 th of March it will be paid. However I have not received it. I have called almost daily to get my money, however they have not paid. Sam keeps on saying David will call me and all the paper work is with the financial manager Brendon. I have tried to call Brandon many times on ********** , however no one picks up the phone. I ultimately went to Alberton police station to report the matter and they referred me to Palmridge Court because they said this was not a ******** matter. However they indicated there are many people that have reported similar cases about The Bricks Factory and David the owner. I then went to Palmridge Court, however I did not get much help because my claim was above the threshold of small claims court. They also confirmed that they received many cases about The Bricks Factory. Seemingly David is just a con artist because there are many people that he has ******. The officials at Palmridge court told me that there are people that he coned more than R40 000.

Late last year David called me to inform me that all refund claims are with the lawyers and the lawyers will contact me. He gave me the name and address of the law firm. I did not receive the call from the lawyers. However I also called the so called lawyers and no one picked up the phone.

Please assist if you can to close down this con artist.
