Disappointing Visit and Terrible Customer Service

<p>I received an sms on my phone from Body Shop stating that I had a R24 voucher and was being 'spoiled' with a further R50 to spend between 9 - 10 July. I went into Body Shop Pavilion to find something to purchase with my vouchers and found a really nice nail polish. It cost R70. Body Shop was having a 20% sale therefore when I got to the till the nail polish was reduced to R50. Now the problems began. Firstly, when I showed the teller that I had a voucher sms on my phone she could not pick it up on their system. She therefore had to call Body Shop head office or wherever to verify the voucher. This took a fair amount of time (please note that every person who came in had to wait for the teller to call to verify their voucher and so there were a number of us waiting for a long time for this to be done). Once my voucher was verified I was then told that because I had a voucher of R50, and the item I was buying came to R50 I could not actually use the voucher for it as it then shows as 'no transaction'. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Every place I have ever had a voucher for, if the value of the voucher equals the item I am buying it goes through as a transaction as a voucher. So Body Shop clearly wants to give out vouchers to their clients but actually not really. Furthermore, the manager on duty at the time in Pavilion store was the most unhelpful, sullen and rude woman. She had absolutely no people s****s and in no way wanted to assist me. Highly disappointed with a store that I generally love!!!</p>
