Bad employees kill good brands - Body Shop Cresta sort your people out !
I have been a loyal body shop client for many years , have probably spent way too much money on products so perhaps this last experience was a blessing in disguise . I went to the body shop in cresta on Saturday afternoon to buy a bunch of creams and body stuff as well too take in a moringa body scrub I had purchased a month back that smelt awful . Being a loyal and fanatic body shop client I thought I was doing the store a favour by taking it in to show them what has happened with the product , along with me I had 6 empty tubs of the big bottles of cream - I love that they are recyclable and could care less that you get some discount on your next purchase . I walked in , greeted the consultant warmly and explained that I’d like her to check out the faulty moringa , she rudely grabbed it out my hand and said yes but we won’t refund without a proof of payment ... wait what ? Refund , proof of payment for a body scrub ?!! I calmly responded saying I’m not here for a refund , I’m here to show you that something is wrong with the product but if you continue to treat me this way I will never purchase from this brand again . Asked her to check my loyalty card of she really needed confirmation that the item was really from their store . She was unbelievably rude , unhelpful and continued to be obtuse and missed the point entirely . I dropped the 6 tubs into the recycling bin , cut up my loyalty card in the store and left . She was so smug ! Saved the shop an R120 refund apparently but lost a lifer client who averages a 14k per annum spend at the store . Really poor customer service , I can deal with a lot but rude people is just the pits !
