That extra mile

<p>A group of us went to visit on a Sunday evening and noticed a sign stating that a private function was being held. I had a chat with the manager who told me that it was their annual staff function and that their kitchen was closed to clients unfortunately, but that we were very welcome to have a seat and share what they were serving. We ended up being treated to lovely prawns, a stunning chilli con carne served with corn ****ins followed by creme brulee. The bill arrived and we noticed that we were not charged for our meals. Needless to say we left a proper tip. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for going that extra mile. We had a great evening out and the food was spot on.</p>
