Stay away from The Bed shop in Alberton. Poor service and lack of accountability

I paid for a bed on Saturday from The Bed Shop in Alberton but I had to keep calling the store to ask how far their driver is because the agreed time of delivery had long passed. First they said the driver has just left the store with my bed and will arrive soon, when i call again they tell me the same thing(my house is less than 15min from the store) and eventually I asked for the numbers of the driver (Chris) and when i call, it turns out he is 45min-1hr away because he decided to deliver to someone first who is further out-disregarding the requested time altogether. I then ask that the bed be returned to store and be delivered on Monday rather because I had to be somewhere else by the time the driver would be at the house. The store assistant and the driver both tell me that once the bed is invoiced out, it cant be returned to the shop unless THE DRIVER TAKES IS TO HIS HOUSE FOR THE WEEKEND and delivers to me on Monday - unheard of!!!

I then requested for a refund and apparently this will take 7-14 working days to refund and this is for a bed that 1. was delivered to me in the first place and 2.for something that resulted from their negligence.

I would not buy from The Bed Shop again nor refer anyone to them. Once the sale is made, it seems they no longer care of their customers afterwards.
