Buying a new bed...NOT from the Bed Shop!!
I bought 2 beds from the shops in Melville and Cresta in 2013 totalling over R16000 and now I sleep in my son's bed as THE BED SHOP wants me to pay in for customising my beds for me! <br> This started not even 6 months after purchasing the beds. Mine kept on sagging in the middle, they replaced it a few times, and then claimed they custom made a mattress for me a couple of months ago, only to be told by the regional manager Kurt, and Jan Hendrik, that this is in fact the new product as they removed the memory foam completely. My mattress is so hard that my arms are dying when I'm sleeping, and my son's after \customising"his is so soft he doesn't want to sleep on it.<br> Jan Hendrik and Kurt came out to look at the problem"
Her sons mattress has no factory fault and was customized according to his request to the store to do so.
There is no factory fault on her current product, therefore it cannot simply be exchanged.
In order to reach the same \feel\" of her sons product which she is sleeping on there would be some customization that would need to be done and that there would be a cost associated with this.
