THE SHAMEFUL BEAMER BOYZ !!!!

Let me start by saying that if I could give this business a rating less than 1-star I would.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE BEAMER BOYZ FOR ANY REPAIRS OR DIAGNOSTICS !

Some few months ago I took my car in for repairs at The Beamer Boyz. As you will learn from the other posts, there's nothing more regrettable!

The business exists to solicit funds from customers based on unfounded or otherwise unwarranted claims about the condition of the vehicle.

I had a 'burnt oil' like smell coming through the vents in the cabin, but the vehicle had not reported any engine, transmission or other related issues. What was meant to be a 1 week job turned into a 3-month ordeal. In that time I wasn't able/allowed to speak to the manager/owner of the business and the office staff was severely impolite and unprofessional.

My contact person even went as far as lying about the progress with the repairs, when on one day I was called to come and pick the vehicle up but arrived to a disassembled engine.

It would not be another 2-months until I finally got my car back after receiving additional invoices for exorbitant amounts relating to unfounded claims about the condition of the car. I went on to report the business to the motor industry authorities (RMI & the Motor Industry Ombudsman of South Africa) and I had to appoint an independent assessor to give an objective opinion and debunk their additional repair work request.

Needless to say, I was left to pick up the pieces and my car has never been the same since it left that workshop.

I repeat, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THE BEAMER BOYZ FOR ANY REPAIRS OR DIAGNOSTICS ! They are simply an ************ business with no place in the motor industry value chain.
