Gold theft - The Art of More Group (Pty) Ltd also trading as The Art of More Durban.
In August 2024 Charl Allan Williams, the director of this company and Pegasus Gold and Coin (Pty) Ltd, took a variety of gold coins to the value of R438,000 (his written valuation at the time) which I had previously purchased from him, to exchange for 1oz Krugerrands. But despite many promises and multiple disaster stories, he never returned with the Krugerrands. A case of theft was opened at the Midrand SAPS 754/11/2025, he was arrested, granted bail, he requested mediation and repayment over 2 months which he failed to honor or to appear back in court, on two occasions, and has subsequently absconded.
