Awaited quote for 3 weeks and TERRIBLE customer service

After having a bad experience with a private appliance repairs man, I decided to go with a company that seemed legit and professional. This was a mistake.

The tech's who come and do the quote, do not keep you up to date with when they are arriving, and they definitely don't listen if you are only going to home between certain times. They seem to arrive when it suits them. So it took a few times just to try and get them to look at my broken washing machine.

Once they came, they identified the problem and said that would get back to me within the next week. Well, they didn't get back to within that week. I called inquiring, and I was told in a fairly rude manner that I need to be patient and understand that they have lots of jobs and they would get back to me when the suppliers did. This never happened.

I called a total of 4 times, with the last 3 times dealing with the general manager, who seemed to not really care for anything I had said. Everytime he said I would be called back which I wasn't, he never once apologised, he kept on telling me how many other jobs there are and how he can't remember every job and to call people back (this surprised me that they even have so many jobs because of such awful service).

The 4th time (3 weeks to the day that the techs had come to look at the machine) I called, I think the complete frustration/desperation/anger became apparent and he got my tech to call me, who said that we would come right now and fit the part. Meaning they had had the part all this time. The quote I was only then given was completely over priced, and after all of this, I certainly didn't want to support such a shocking business.

I really hope that the Appliance Repair Centre starts realising that they are pushing customers far away. I certainly will never use them again, and I urge others to avoid the frustration and use another company.
