The NOT so Angels Place Boutique Guesthouse

I am very disappointed in this well known guesthouse. We booked 27 of our schools netball girls in 2020 to attend a netball tournament in Pretoria. We were supposed to arrive 26 March 2020 when COVID-19 forced a hard lockdown and the tournament was cancelled. It is now 2 years that we still struggle to get the R104000 back from the guesthouse. We spent additional legal cost to no avail. Since January 2021 the Consumer Investigator has not responded to various emails even after we supp**** all the requested documents to proof our claim. The owner, Rosemary said that they had expenses to prepare for our stay, but could not provide any proof and when I said we will collect the food already purchased (although we did not discussed a menu at that stage) she did not react. These 27 girls worked hard to pay for the tour. They sold ice-cream during break time and washed cars to raise the funds. Some of these girls finished school without any compensation for there hard work. I will not recommend this guesthouse to any school attending netball tournaments in and around Pretoria.
