************ Behaviour - The Airport Times

The Airport times is ************ in their behaviour and negligent in the management of the event - Night of the stars Reloaded.

I flew my entire family to durban to attend the event incurring exorbitant Airline ( long weekend) , accommodation and car hire costs for the initial event to be held on the 29th. As we were about to board a flight we received the Sms from computicket stating that the show had been postponed. A day before the event is meant to take place ???? Completely Unacceptable !!!!

We as patrons have not been given sufficient time to manage costs and in this instance contact airlines to move flights to alternate dates etc. If there was a Visa issue The Airport times was fully aware and could have informed patrons with sufficient notice.

Upon contacting The Airport Times, they are completely cryptic and elusive to giving any answers in writing. I have had the run around from computicket for 2 weeks stating that the event organisers have not responded. I now understand why. While liaising with the Airport times they were fully aware that a venue has not been finalized, yet they published a new date for the event 12th may and only this week issued a further postponement.

Thankfully I had not rebooked to attend the event as I would have been out of pocket yet again. The Airport times thinks this is the normal course of business and are quite arrogant in their approach to resolve customer queries. They need to be held accountable and need to take responsibility for the poor management of process and event. I am still awaiting a response from the airport times to refund the costs incurred in attending the event and will pursue further steps…. Join the cause !!!!
