A dental experience from hell

This is a terrible dentist who ****** me. Also, awful service! Please don’t waste your money on this *******. I had to make numerous trips to him because of incorrect fit of “braces” which moved my teeth in the opposite direction that they were supposed to! He then, without informing me, put heavy resin on the backs of my teeth to “help the braces push them in the right direction.” I had to go to another dentist to get this removed and my teeth cleaned. The retainer was never delivered to me nor did I get my refund for it after complaining. After complaining, he did not even respond to me. So much for customer service. The teeth whitening kit he used was a small home-based kit one can purchase from Dischem and it did nothing to whiten my teeth plus it was so much more expensive than the home-kit. He advised to use some gingivitis mouthwash which made brown stains on my teeth which he claimed was from drinking green tea. He also scared me silly by saying that my tooth is going to fall out at any time due to gingivitis and that I must do a gum graft. He did not use a diagnostic test nor try to give me an eta for this “diagnosis.” I was so scared that I went to another dentist for a second opinion and they used a test and x-ray free of charge to show me that my tooth is still intact and that it is not in danger of falling out. R5000 later and my teeth were worse off than before treatment- full of brown stains, glue and moved in the wrong direction, with no whitening to speak of. He never once apologised for his lack of judgement and kept trying to blame-shift onto me for issues he had caused. He also tried to Bible-bash me when I said I was not Christian. It has been a hell ride with this dentist. I still have not been given a response, let alone a refund! Please spare yourself.
