Theives of Thatchwiz

Having used the services of Thatchwiz once before, I decided to call them in as my roof had recently been rethatched. Biggest mistake ever. Bruce's staff stole a drill and opened boxes in my cottage and rifled through the contents for things to preumably sneak off the property. When the lost item was identified (within a day of it going 'missing') I politeley enquired via email whether Bruce may have thought his staff could have possibly been responsible for the lost item (a brand new drill that had disappeared from a room only his staff were working in - we have no **** and no gardener, so nobody else could possibly have moved it). Bruce angrily called back and returned his emails entirely in a defensive manner. We calmly explained our point of view, and wanting to be impartial, I agreed to pay for the cost of a polygraph test should it come back negative. Bruce and partner said they knew a 'good' detective, so we agreed. The test was only taken weeks later, the results were supposedly 'inconclusive' - although we never received a copy as proof of the same. When I wrote back to follow up whether there had been a retest, there was no response. To date, there's been zero interest from Bruce to resolve the matter in any form or manner, or replace the brand new drill that was ****** by his staff. Needless to say, we will not entertain this business in any form or fashion going forward. I urge anyone using this company's services to be extremely wary of the owners of Thatchwiz and their staff. Use their services at your peril.
