Poor workmanship of Lapa, braai and paving

To whom this may concern. It had been approximately 15 months since Ferdie and his team from Thatchers Unlimited has completed a lapa, braai and paving project for my. The following quality issues remain, despite numerous requests to come and fix the issues:

1. Thatch roof is leaking, since the very first rain came down. 2. All paving around the swimming pool is loose with some corners that has completely pulled off. 3. There are multiple big cracks in the concrete floor that are degrading over time. 4. The brickwork is weak and several bricks are loose on the walls and around the braai area. 5. No account for expansion of the braai has been taken, so there are mutliple cracks. 6. The braai light has burnt out (melted) because the incorrect wiring was used.

The last issue, and difficult to prove, is that about 1 month after the project was completed I had a break in to my house, pretty much cleaned it out and took my wife's car. I'm not saying that the crew from Thatchers Unlimited was involved, and I'm not saying they weren't. The fact remains that we've never had a break in at our home since we moved in 7 years ago, our street hasn't experienced a break in for the past 20 years.

So I've learnt a big lesson with trusting contractors and will never use this specific one again. Anybody else can try them at their own risk.
