DISSAPOINTED

I honestly thought by getting a company boasting with 23 years of experience, together with excellent after sales service to re-thatch my lapa that I would receive top quality service, but I was wrong. Although work started great on the Friday afternoon, on Saturday they had to leave at 15:00, due to not having a ladder to get to the ridging of the roof, on Sunday morning they arrived with two workers short , this while the foreman sat sleeping on my lawn furniture. At 20:15 the two workers, who have worked nonstop that day was forced to finish the job in the dark, with only a cell phone light to help them see. The foreman ensured me that the job was complete and I paid them the outstanding amount. The roof however was not finished. I contacted the company and after 6 months (many phone calls and messages later and even after stating to take legal action), they arrived at my house on a Saturday afternoon again with no ladders or scaffolding etc. A few days after the roof was finished, there was a huge rainstorm and I detected that the roof was now leaking. Again I contacted the company (this is now 3 months ago) and to date I have had no response. As a result I had to get in another company to assist me in fixing the leak which resulted in additional costs on my behalf. I would not recommend this company to anyone who wants to re-thatch their lapa.
