Worst Holiday / Birthday experience

I would not reccommend this place to anyone. Staff are rude and not welcoming, they gave the unit I paid for to another family that paid 6 days after me. They did not tell me this and instead pushed us into a horribly maintained unit. It was filthy, bedding was not clean, neither were the floors and the geyser did not work, all this was not rectified when complained about at reception. Staff gave us attitude insisting that the bedding was stained and that they have cleaned. Disgusting service. There was blood on the bedding and oily residue on the sheets and pillow cases, we were told that the blood stains were nail polish stains. When I tried calling the after hours number for assistance, the lady that answered said "this is not thangami Safari spa". We had to use the sheets we carried and lay this on the bed, roll our bath towels as pillows just to sleep as the pillows were filthyvand we could not take a bath at all. The unit next door had water and their geyser worked but I was told by the manager that there is a problem with the water pressure and that they are fixing it, which was a lie as this was never rectified. I think a health and safety inspector should visit this place. I had the worst Christmas and Birthday of my life. No apologies can make up for the valuable time I lost on this wasted trip. I wasted money on fuel and food due to the Spa's negligence. I do have photos which I did take as proof.
