WORST LODGE: THANDABANTU GAME LODGE

My friend was hosting her husbands 30th birthday party here the weekend of the 23rd. We arrived there with no indication of where to go or check in. There is no parking next to the chalet and we were given a shopping trolley to take our luggage down. The chalet was neat but most defenitely not clean and towels provided had a bad odor to them. The kitchen closes at 19:00 thus we had to order the food to eat later as all the guests wasn't there yet. We had to wait an hour for breakfast tje next day. Rooms were not cleaned throughout the weekend. My friend arranged (paid R4000) for a "spit" for the saturday and asked that it be ready at 19:00 as there we children and old people it was done at 10:30 and still raw we had to finish ot in the ovens. We were told day visitors would be there but had to be out by 17:00 this did not happen. After a while a fight broke out between some guests and the day visitors where the one manager proceeded to yell at us (nevermind the fact that she was making almost R50k out of us) for the weekend with venue hire, spit, lunch, breakfast and booze and accommodation for 30 people. Sunday when we checked out the other manager wanted to know what happened and instead of appologising she just schruged her shoulders. Some day visitors also stole our side dishes we made and ate it after the party was finished. This is supposedly a 4 star place. I am well traveled and I beg to differ. Worst lodge and management I have ever came accros
