Refund needed

I booked a 2 night stay at the lodge via booking.com the property debited R1221,08 from my bank account, i cancelled the booking after 2 days due to family problem booking.com assured me that i have a free cancellation,when i called the property at first they promised to refund me but later said booking.com will pay me. It's been a month since i cancelled the booking and the lodge has been promising to investigate the matter but upto today my money hasn't been refunded the reference shows that its Thabaledi that took my money today their phone doesn't go through i don't know if they blocked me or what
