NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCES AT THABA ECO HOTEL

Accomodation: Booked in on Friday 17/3/2017 ( for a wedding) in rooms 104 & 107. Aaircons not working in both the rooms! Next morning they had us changed to other rooms 105 & 207. Room 104 remained without aircon for the rest of the day (and night), where make-up and hair was done! We were then moved to room 207, where at the time the maintanance new that the smoke dedective alarm was beeping every few minets. According to them a flat battery, but it will be fixed soon. Needless to say that NEVER happend! We left for the wedding and returned to our room @ 24:15 with this alarm still beeping. It continued through the night!! We phoned Reseption and Housekeeping to report the alarm! Nobody answered our call! But it is a 4* venue!! What a joke!! When I reported the senario the next morning to a person called Andrea she appologized for the inconvienienced caused and she will report the matter to the manager on duty. Up and until now (3 days later) nobody from Thaba has contacte me. THE Chapel: In our package was included 2x whiteflower arrangements, After we paid the 25% deposit we where informed that the flower arrangement had to stay in Chapel after the wedding!! Also included in the package is Video Streaming, for guests that could not made the weddinng was NOT WORKING. After complaining when, our geusts could'nt connect we informed that the system or WiFI, was off line!! Family as far as Namibia, Cape Town could'nt view the wedding!! Was this fair to our family and friends? Reception in the Tswane Hall 18/3/2017: Please what ever you do NEVER use this venue. There is no privacy!! there was a wedding in top hall as well. Needless to say their guests standing on the balcony had a full veuw on our wedding geust. Giving remarks! This venue did not come cheap, that I can assure you! Furthermore, don't trust Thaba Eco Hotel when it comes to ANY liquor or liquor bill. Included in the package we could choose 1x white wine 1x Red wine and 1x champaigne. Thereafter the liquor bill was for our payment. Needless to say once again the package wines and champagne was non exsistant, nothing, zero, nada!! Only the wines and Champagne that was for our bill was served!! I spesially printed and lamimated the housebrand, (the whole) RANGE of White WINE, RED WINE AND 1X CHAMPAMPAIGE the geusts could choose from!! That never happend! Our geusts did NOT get to choose the wine of their taste. They got what the Bar men or waiters gave them! I can honnestly say I WILL never recommend Thaba Eco Hotel's wedding facility!! Sad, very sad case Thaba Eco Hotel!!
