Great Venue for any event

Had my wedding at Thaba Eco Hotel on the 22nd Of December 2017. I was quite impressed with the amazing service delivery and the amazing staff who are always ready to assist. The food was great, from the starters all the way to the dessert, there were ample amounts available. There were even two waiters following the bridal team during our photo shoot ensuring we had snacks.

The team was also very flexible with working around the package we selected and seemed to manage the vendors well. I was assisted by Devona who did a great job, especially with the sweet stand. The only thing that needs to be looked into is the provision of chairs for the waiting period while the couple is doing their shoot. I had asked Devona if they had tables and chairs available for this and she said they had ****tail tables and chairs available. She said this would be setup on the day. It was not. The poor Grannies and Grandpa's had to stand .

I had also requested the balcony doors be fully open of which they weren't. The band was squashed into the closed pation along with 200 guests. Not nice.

We then went back for the complimentary anniversary stay. This was great and had us reminiscing. Some of the staff remembered us and welcomed us back. There was one guy in particular who seemed to always be ready to assist and was forever checking up on us. I forgot his name as it's very unique (i think it was a Ndebele name). He was great! The breakfast offered is ok. The staff looked unhappy though.

The Kraal restaurant menu needs a TOTAL revamp. I found the food to be over priced for what we got. It is a sub standard restaurant.

The property has also been upgraded a bit and is looking wonderful.

A few things need to be focused on via agreed service delivery between the coordinator and the event manager, but overall a great venue.
