Refund saga

This is one very horrible place to book at. I made a booking to go stay with them for 3days in November and I had paid a deposit but unfortunately we had to urgently cancel because something else came up. I called the Lodge and sent an email communicating this and they told me they noted it and would give me a full refund. A week passed and I called to do a follow up, to which I was told that they would be processing it soon and that the accountant had gotten I’ll but was now well

Another week passed and still nothing, this is when I spoke to Marie who is the owner/manager and she was just down right rude to me, even hung up on me saying she’s in a meeting. I had to call all the numbers linked on their website to get hopes of a response. It took Remona to assist me and I thankfully eventually got my refund. But I would definitely never advice anyone to book with them, they lack emotional professionalism
