TGP CONSTRUCTION - BUILDERS COMPLAINT - HOME OWNER

Good day,

We bought a Turnkey house from the contractor above in Sept 2012. After a period of 6months and first winter rain, we discovered damp marks and wall paint bubbling, we listed this on our snag list and the builder sent a representative to come and inspect and rectify snags. All they did was sc**** the paint off, and repainted the marks. We did a final snag list and reported that the issues were not dealt with correctly after receiving confirmation that someone else would attend to our issue. They again came and did a half completed job and left the site without returning to complete the snags fully. We have in the meantime discovered the passage walls bubbling and paint breaking from walls as well as the door frames rotting from underneath and our wooden floors started pulling up and cracking, we advised NHBRC of our complaint and had our insurance company coming to check if it might be a leak from the shower causing the problem, they found no leaks and informed us that this is a rising damp issue and we are not covered for that. We contacted the builder and informed them of our situation to be told that the 3yr guarantee is complete and they have no responsibility to the house any longer. This issue is now a major problem. I had a damp specialist come to the house yesterday 22/3/17 and the report he gave is definately a concern and building issue. What is my case and how can I get them to come to the party re the costs to repair this issue?
