There's "just as good as" - and then there's Terratac!

It was with no small measure of trepidation that I Replaced my Leatherman Sidekick with the Terratac X14. Put to daily use, nay, multiple uses per day, the old tool was regularly being sent back to be repaired, such that that the love was wearing thin. The Terratac X14, on the other hand, has handled everything I've thrown at the past 8 months with aplomb! Mine withstands daily exposure out in the field to water and harsh chemicals. Its build quality is far superior, feeling solid, positive and, with all tools fully locking, much safer and trustworthy, especially with single-handed use. The X14 is a Real Tool, not a standby-in-a-pinch. The bits add-on is well worth it too.

I've even had a custom leather pouch made for it and the bits to ensure this amazing tool is always at hand!
