NEVER RENT FROM TERAZZO PROPERTIES IN RYNFIELD BENONI!!!

Absolutely appalled by the treatment my family received from Terazo Properties and specifically Jackie de Vries.

My 63-year-old mother-in-law vacated her rental property over TWO MONTHS ago and is still waiting for her deposit refund. During this time, we have been given repeated promises and conflicting stories regarding payment dates, verification processes, and when the money would supposedly reflect. We were told the payment had already been processed, only to later be told it had not yet been released.

After weeks of being ignored and given excuse after excuse, my sister-in-law phoned Jackie de Vries directly to ask a simple question: when will her mother receive the money that is legally owed to her?

Instead of handling the matter professionally, the call became aggressive and abusive. During the conversation, Jackie de Vries allegedly swore at her, called her a “rude ****ing ***** just like your mother,” and told her he would “****ing throw her out” if she came to the office.

No woman deserves to be spoken to like that — especially not by the owner or principal of a property company. It is disgraceful, intimidating, and completely unacceptable conduct from somebody in a professional industry.

What makes this worse is that this entire situation started because a 63-year-old woman was simply trying to recover her own deposit after waiting well beyond the expected legal timeframe.

People can make their own judgments, but families deserve transparency, professionalism, and basic human respect when dealing with property agencies. Based on our experience, we received none of those things.
