TEN21 MEDIA - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

We are a start up business and approached Mr Zander Grobler to do our branding and other marketing related activities. On viewing his website , it seemed like a legit and professional business. But unfortunately for us, it did not turn out this way.

Our first meeting, was a skype meeting, as he had insisted that in this day and age its not necessary to meet face to face and all can be discussed over skype. He did not show his face during the Skype call and gave an excuse.This should have already been a red flag.

We had a long detailed discussion about the image we would like to be branded. He quoted us in the region of R10000. Before commencing with any work he had requested a 70% deposit, which we paid.

The first proposal which he had emailed to us was dismal. No thought had gone into any of it. Our requirements were not even considered. Stock standard logo's which we could have created from any logo service on the internet were presented to us. We conveyed this to him and allowed him to do another proposal. The second proposal was no improvement on the first.

We then decided that if this was the quality of work being presented, we longer wanted to continue with the company. Out of fairness, we had told him to keep the portion of the fee which he had done work on (+/-R1500) and asked for the rest of the money to be refunded (+/- R5500). Which was never done.

He stopped answering our calls, sms, whatsapp and emails. We have tried all avenues to get in touch, but he ignores all forms of communication. Do not do any business with this company as i have been in touch with another 2 individuals which have had a similar experience. He is a ***** and a ********. We will now be pursuing the legal route.
