TEMU or BUFFALO CARRIERS at fault?

Have enjoyed online shopping experience with TEMU until today. Import tax has been about 30% of item value. Today a TEMU order costing R238, required a custom tax payment of R245 from BUFFALO . How is this possible? Paying more for tax than the value of the item? How can the import tax be more than
