TEMU is just Terrible. Period.
If there was a minus, I would opt for that. I see online reviews give TEMU 2.5? That's ridiculously generous. 1. I in excess of 20 items. I actually placed two different orders. I have received only 4 items. The order was split literally into splinters! The four items I received came on Monday 21 Jan. That courier, Fastway, they literally sent me an SMS around 5AM, saying I must expect my delivery between 8AM and 5PM. The next thing I am getting a call around 10AM, with the delivery person saying they are at the gate. No call saying I am on my way, where might you be? Maybe some might think that's minor. Okay... 2. The next courier, Asendia/ Linux, I keep seeing updates to say my parcels are awaiting D&T payment. Three days now, but no invoice. And to contact them, I have to make a lengthy call detailing a problem of their own causing. I reject that space. I am not getting in it. Worse, they are bothering to contact me and say, guy, we are waiting for payment here. How do I pay, and how much, to what account, without being invoiced? The alternative is to contact, and call I won't do. Their WhatsApp line, I must go through a copy, paste and save routine for both their number and reference. Buffalo and Safeway had a direct link which caused me zero inconvenience. But it's all on TEMU because I literally have no business with their couriers. Their incompetence reflects purely on those contracting them. 3. Of course, it all started with the TEMU model of splintering two orders into possibly twenty different deliveries, at the current rate. And, when TEMU has dispatched your items to their various ***********s, try and get in touch with the company to let them know your challenges! Despite alluding to a live chat, you will ridiculously run around email sign-ins...until, well, I gave up!
One, my orders are literally mostly small items. Yes, I obviously would have understood in the case of items being vastly different in either size or weight.
Two, you definitely want to mislead if you are suggesting that a customer would come to other platforms without first trying to speak to you. I already mentioned in my review that that your so-called livechat was neither live not helpful. Your "live chat" lead to email logins that basically keep revolving. Personally, on a third request to login to email, I just left your platform.
Three, before this response, I had actually just engaged one of your couriers to cancel a delivery indefinitely. Safeway called me in the morning. To confirm my address the guy said. And then he asked if I was available today. I said yes. That was around 9AM. I waited until 13H00. So, I called back to ask the ETA for my package. And I am told it's not even out for delivery, despite the update saying it is...and the guy in the morning asking me if I am available today. Really pathetic and time wasting. These are not COD items. We pay in advance. It's unfair to be made to wait in vain for something you already paid in advance for. Confirm with Safeway if you are interested. Tracking number was CR***. I cancelled that order, unless you can send a different courier. I am an online buyer, and I have dealt with everyone, from Makro, Game, TakeALot, Amazon, etc. I have never experienced the unprofessional treatment I got from Safeway, and, by extension, you TEMU, as the sender.
Lastly, you really need to add a direct customer consultation platform on your app. Communicating problems to you is the most concise definition of the word Cumbersome!
