Honest One-Time Experience of Temu

I am a very cynical and discerning customer. I was prepared to have a bad experience on Temu, but because there were some things I wanted and the products are cheap, I placed an order. I could see that many of the items were cheaply made and expected that some products would not meet my satisfaction. I was right in that respect; some products were badly made and broke. However, others were very well made and great purchases. I posted poor reviews on Temu for the bad producs and was immediately asked if I wanted a refund. I was told I could keep the bad products (they weren't worth shipping back for Temu) and was reimbursed for those bad products. The good products - some beaded jewellery and two boleros (clothing) - continue to please me. Although I find Temu's advertising annoying, I understand they're a business and I want to find things to complain about but can't really. But I've only used them once. My boyfriend ordered musical equipment from Temu (WHY? I told him that was a very bad idea) and he had to return it, it was such poor quality. He got a refund. That's my honest experience of Temu.

Reviewer Update
After reviewing Temu and being as fair as possible, I have a further thing to add. I've been bombarded with advertising and promises of free gifts - ok, I can ignore and delete advertising emails - I understand marketing and sales are part of any business. However, I'm deeply annoyed at their promises of free gifts. You pick your gifts and watch them being digitally packed into the truck. At the last gift, you're told to send a link to a friend and then of course, that friend sends a link to another friend to get THEIR free gift. Ok, annoying as that is, again, it's salesy stuff and you don't have to send a link and spam people. What p-sses me off is how Temu use language to assure you that the gifts are YOURS before you have spam other people. They 'pack' the gifts and say - these free gifts are yours and packed. Which is not the case. False advertising I can't bear and won't stay silent about.
