False promotions
False promotions - promising items you can buy for R1 if you order for certain amount - showing you before you pay for the order that you are getting your R1 items - after they receive payment the R1 items are not included in your order anymore.
When you contact the help centre to complain you get a reply back that you did not meet the criteria or threshold to be able to claim your R1 items. You can keep on explaining to them - show them proof of what was promised to you and all they do is letting you go in circles to different people explaining to each person the same story over and over to get the same answer.
You did not meet the threshold total

15 Jul 2025, 06:21You are claiming Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance and we are constantly working to improve our service quality.
But that is so far from the truth.
And trying to make use of your help option in the app is also useless because all you get is going around in circles placing the problem back to the customer instead of owing up and acknowledge their is a problem and resolve the issue accordingly or give what was promised.
And their is no other way to reach anyone else in the company to escalate the problem to someone who can actually help.
I am going to report this to econsumer.gov and let them try to sort out the misconceptions that is being advertised

24 Feb 2026, 16:20There is as an advert that Temu runs at the moment where a customer shouts at the boss of Temu saying they are doing false advertising of their products on special. And that adverti*****t of themselves is so very true. That is the exactly what they portrait of themselves and what you receive when you try to buy the specials.
The problem i complaint about never got resolved. Instead I was offered R100 and something credit on my Temu account.
