Don't order from Temu

Temu will totally flood your inbox and confuse you with free gifts untill you don't know what you have actually ordered or paying for. The moment you confirm your card, the money is gone. But that's only the beginning. A few days later, you'll get an email to tell you to pay for Vat and customs. You've never been told that before and now it's too late. To the best of my knowledge, in South Africa a price quoted includes Vat unless specified that it is exclusive. How they get away with that, I don't know. So you pay. But wait untill you open your package. Some items are such poor quality that after testing I just threw them into the bin. Another was only part of what I thought that I ordered and useless on it's own. Well, I resisted buying from Temu for a long time and eventually wanted to know if their stuff is ok or not. This question has been answered and I have deleted the app. Never again!
