Worst Car Hire Campany Ever!

Please do not hire from Tempest at all cost, as they will use any excuse not to pay back your deposit or charge you for damages wgich is not your fault. I recently hired a Seltos from Tempest at George airport, after returning the car and the inspection was done he gave us a thumbs up that everything was in order. While waiting for our friends who came to see us off, we saw the inspection officer moving the car to another parking space. After about half an hour the office called and said that there are damages on the one tyre and a fee of R3000 needs to be paid as there is a nail in one of the tyres, but they moved the car after the inspection, where everything was fine, and they cannot say where in the tyre the nail is situated. The deposit is now being held back as they still need to determine the damages to the tyre after 3 weeks? They do not deserve any money from anyone as they cannot do honest business and from the reviews this seems to be a regular occurence as everone is complaining about the same thing! Please consider Thrifty, much nicer company with no issues.
