TEMPEST **********, ******S CAR HIRE

They gave me a vehicle with fuel cap which was faulty and not opening. I ended up spending money looking for accommodation and buying food for 7 passengers who were in the H1. I returned it but it had a dent on the door. We discussed with Mr Bafana on how I can possibly get a compensation for the inconvenience. I further engaged the manager on the emails. Before we even reach an agreement, I got notifications that Tempest is deducting money which I didn't have any contractual nor even verbal agreement with to make these deductions. This is ********** and I will report this matter to the right authorities because I didn't give them any right to go through my company's credit card to debit these transactions while we are even waiting for the discussion to resolve this matter . They still have my deposit. I received a phone call from Ms. Gloria today explaining the invoices I received. As per our telephone conversation this morning, she informed me that: 1. Tempest charged me for an extra day since I returned the vehicle on the 3rd instead of the 2nd of September. This to me did not make sense and was unfair because the delay was due to fuel cap which was faulty, they also tested and saw it when I returned the car. I cannot be charged for carelessness which was done by Tempest.

2. The vehicle was taken to Assessors and another damage was discovered and that is why Tempest deducted R4000 and R3013 was not returned in my account. I have never seen and experienced **************** and unprofessionalism as this. When I returned the vehicle, I was only liable for the dent on the door. Now I am told only today verbally that the vehicle has another damage which has no specifications, which we never identified when I returned the vehicle. How do we know if the vehicle had the damage before I took it? Seeing that they issue out vehicles with damages (faulty fuel cap). It is unfair, unprofessional, ********* for Tempest to expect me to accept and pay for a damage which I was not informed about when I returned the vehicle and I will have to consult relevant authorities about this. We both have no evidence and proof that the damage was done by me, so why would they pin it on me?
