Stay Away from Tempest

I hired a car from Tempest on 27 October. Not only is their depot and office at Cape Town international closed (you have to stand in long queues at Europcar to collect your booking), but the car they gave me was a downgrade from what I booked and paid for. They never refunded or discounted my booking at all. The car I was given should not even be on the roads. It is extremely unsafe and the brakes were finishing on the car too. Tried complaining multiple times while we had the car but got zero response from them via email, or calls and their social media team have given me the runaround. It’s now over a week later and I still havent heard back from anyone and my deposit is still not paid back to me. Stay away from Tempest!
