Rented out a car with excessive scratches

I recently picked up a car at the Durban Shaka Marine airport from Tempest. The car had excessive scratches on it. During the examination, we did not inspect the wipers at all because the car's extensively scratched body caught our attention more. To put it plainly, I don't believe the vehicle is in sufficient condition to be rented out. It's unfortunate that, as customers, we must accept responsibility and make payments for losses that were not our fault.
