R387.30 Refuelling Charge after Car WAS returned FULL!

I find it utterly arrogant and a thievery to say the least when a car rental company charges ridiculous and unnecessary amounts for fuel when I returned the CAR FULL! This is an utter disrespect to me as a regular customer! I rented a car for 8 days, returned it FULL (I mean FULL, FULL on the DIGITAL DISPLAY and the pipe kicked back a few times when the Petrol attendant filled it) and still got charged a refueling charge of R387.30. The bit that I may have used from the Garage to the Airport COULD NOT have been more than R10 as it was a few kilometers!

Clearly TEMPEST CAR HIRE does not care about my satisfaction and added charges to my account which I did actually notice it! I wanted to write a positive review of both the EXCELLENT Renault StepWay which was ridiculously light on fuel and more but if you RIP ME OFF when I only acted in good faith then you won't see me again! I have proof of having refueled at a garage just before returning the car. I called them to complain about the Charge which was more than DOUBLE the amount of petrol I used for an entire WEEK as I DID NOT even use the 100km per day, included KM. The guy still insisted that I paid too little for petrol and the email that followed tried to justify the charge!

Who says someone didn't drive around with the car during the night? I handed the keys in but we did not close my account right there and then as it was 8PM at night and no one was available to check the car back in! I expect a refund of R387.30 and if the bit between FULL and the CAP was more than R10, I will pay R50! ...then also STATE THAT IN THE POLICY that FULL does not mean “DIGITALLY indicated FULL” but a RIDICULOUS "FULL to the CAP" Hence forward I will be really worried if I can’t find a garage close to the airport!
