Playing dead after accusations

Rented a car for a week. When we picked up the car it had damage and scratch. The guy who helped us with the rental was amazing. He made sure the check the car with us and Mark the check sheet properly since the vehicle inspectors were clearly ***********. He signed the sheet after updating it. We made sure to take pictures and a video of the damaged we picked up with him while we were still at pick up. We then took off,,, sure as hell that we were safe. We returned the car nice and early on the correct date. Made sure to note to the guys at drop off the updated check sheet and he acknowledged it. Guess what happens 7 days later. We get and email demanding we explain the damage that we caused. Hahaha...we respond with the videos and evidence we made sure to keep that the damage was there already. Now we are being ignored and no refund has been provided. You took an absolutely exvellent experience that one of your employees had created for us and turned us against everything you stand for nothing.
