To whom it may concern.

I had a minor accident with a tempest car a couple of years back and filed the report to them on the same day. I only received the assessors report and cost almost 1yr 6 months later from when I filed it. At no point within that period did Tempest Car hire contact me to settle them damage of about R9324.8. The first time I heard about the assessment amount, after filing my accident report a 1yr 6 months back, was from their debt collectors Hybrid Collections.

I don’t understand how my account was sent to the debt collectors before contacting me and making the arrangement of payment. I have called tempest dispute and they accepted that it was an error on their part and I don’t have to pay the collections fees.

My issue is that their debt collectors are calling me for their collection fees which I’m no going to pay. I have sent tempest a lot of emails regarding this and it looks like they just sit on the emails without resolving the issue. I would at least expect them to communicate with Hybrid Collections.
